I started working at Hollister here in Dublin, Ireland. It's been alright. Staff are nice enough. But I don't feel staff have patience that some employees take longer than others to really fully learn something. I have ADHD and it enhances memory loss. I get the feeling they don't have the patience for me, that it takes a while to fully learn and understand something. And yet they claim to be equal treatment for all staff. Everyone has different learning needs.
Money is TERRIBLE. €10.50 ($10.36) (£8.00) and paid per month. Don't know how anyone can live off this crap.
You might get a call from your managers a day before your shift, telling you that they have cut your hours because they aren't making the money they expected. Very frustrating all because their store isn't bringing in it's anticipated revenue for the day. If you ask me, it's very ambitious of them to say "the goal is 19,000" or something huge like that, it's ridiculous.
Another terrible thing, that I don't know how you feel about this. But the store and managers have this policy of, if you see someone steal, unfortunately we have to just stand aside and let it happen. We can't approach. This is the most stupidest thing I have ever heard.
They claim, we can't accuse them. It's not an accusation if you see a crime being done. Not very well trained managers. I've been around managers in every job since I was 16, these guys can't even manage a situation like crime. So my advice..don't work here, unless you like injustice in a company, want crap pay per month, your hours cut all because their ambitions are too high. Their causing injustice to the store. And you will find it difficult to represent a company that just says "if they steal, we can't do much". It's stupid. If your a manager, your a representative for the company. So instead of being a bystander and letting crime happen in your store, how about you grow up and manage the situation. The problem is, these managers are all in their 20's, so really their kids.

This was actually the first purchase I’d ever made at hollister. I purchased the cozy slouchy sweater in green and I absolutely love it! I was a bit hesitant because their clothing typically runs smaller but this is one of the most comfortable sweaters I’ve ever purchased. Not to mention the color and soft material is wonderful. The online sales are especially great, clothing goes down to $8 and the material is just wonderful. However there online return policy is a negative because you have to pay for the shipping back.

To all International Customers beware
To all International Customers beware! I have ordered from their US website since June and up to now it still shows packing it up in the order progress. Have requested to cancel the order but they are not willing to do so and said that the order is already in process and can no longer cancel and I am here waiting on their mercy for the order to get ship. All their Customer Service Agents are well trained to give you excuses in not fulfilling the order.
Horrible purchasing experience
Place an order two weeks ago so it can be delivered to my nearest store and still nobody knows where the item is. Customer service saying UPS delivered it a week ago but the store saying it has not arrived. I asked if they can deliver it directly to my house and no one of them offered it to do it. I need to go to the store or cancel the order. Unbelievable

I returned some items about a month ago and I’m still waiting for my refund.. this is the worst company when it comes to processing refunds. I had contacted a few times regarding my issue and no one seems to help. I’m done with this company

It is worse than what QueenS writes. They charge 5 Euros shipping fee (not refundable) and 5 Euros return fee. From the 34,99 Euros which we paid for my daughter's dress (which didn't fit) we got 24,99 Euros back. I know of no other online company with such a terrible policy!

Just started working at Hollister co, Dublin Ireland. I heard the pay is just minimum wage, I can understand because American companies don't pay staff any good.
The staff are fun and chill which is great. Will this be worth my time? I hope so.
With the amount of money Hollister brings in per year, they could afford to bring the wages per hour up a bit more than €10.50 here. God help the ones who work for Hollister in the U.S

Hollister will deduct £5.00 from your return refund.
I’m incredibly annoyed. This is the only retailer that will charge you that much for a domestic return. It would make sense if it was an international return but this? Come on. I’m sure this company has no problems with generating profit. Yet I think it’s greedy to rob customers. I honestly will not be shopping from Hollister again.

Tani was the most helpful and accommodating rep and she helped us avoid a potential vacation emergency!! Ok, that might be extreme - but she really was excellent and very very helpful to us in fixing our order. Thank you Tani!

Terrible returns policy - DONT BUY ONLINE
Hollister is a terrible company. The returns process is really bad, you have to pay to return any items via post which as a multi-million dollar company feels cheeky and cheap of them to place the cost of return on their customers. They also make you print out your own return slip, rather than simply sending you at QR code to return items. Clearly all just an intentional way of prevent customers from returning items. Very grubby company and very happy to never shop there again.

My mother and I never go to Hollister but decided to shop there because it seemed like there were having a good deal. The deal was "Buy one get one half off". However, after purchasing my order, the receipt stated that if I bought two jeans they were both half off instead of one being full price and the second being half off. Being naturally confused, we went to the employee who was extremely helpful, and so were two other employees who helped us while we shopped. This employee was just as confused as we were and asked the manager if it made sense and without even looking, she responded that it does. She rudely tried to explain that we were getting a deal and did not how we were confused because what we were initially told, was not what we got. Then, she made us get back on a line to return. This manager was extremely disrespectful and honestly does not deserve to be a manager. I am still going to directly contact that store because experiences like this unnecessarily ruin someone's day.

I posted a review back in November 2021 giving positive feedback and expressing how happy I’ve always been with the service they provided. It pains me to write a 1* review after so many years of ordering and dealing with this company with no problems.
To my disbelief, I now do not even consider hollister when looking for clothing. They do not offer free delivery for club cali members anymore, the deals they put on now are not worth it and the normal prices are way too high. Might as well shop at places such as CK or TH, you will get the same prices but better quality clothing and free delivery over £50. From ordering couple of times a month I have gone to not placing a single order since December 2021, and I do not foresee placing an order anytime soon.
It’s a shame really what has happened to this company in such a short period of time… but hey, at least it saved me a lot of money!

I ordered jeans for work online since…
I ordered jeans for work online since stores have closed nearby.
The estimated delivery date will change drastically when the payment is accepted.
Called customer service & spoke with a lady.
She was the only person who actually helped.
Come to find out my jeans were back ordered so she changed my sizing slightly
& had my deliver set for next day.
In all my jeans for work were sent out normally delivery. Now it will be 18 days before I get my jeans according to them
Customer service’s are a joke
I've asked for a manager twice & got a voicemail box. Supposedly given 24 hours to respond. That never happened.
So, if you need clothing for work, any occasion
Dont expect them to arrive on time
